Etiology and pathogenesis ENDOCERVICITIS (ENDOCERVICITIS)

Infection by pyogenic microbes, mechanical impact. Contributing factors are the tears and ruptures of the cervix during childbirth, factors that cause prolonged Hyper secretion of cervical mucous, promote increased circulation of the pelvic organs (in particular, interrupted intercourse). In some cases, common diseases (anemia), a functional disorder of ovaries. In acute cases, hyperemia, swollen soaking tissue, small cell exudate. Symptoms and course ENDOCERVICITIS (ENDOCERVICITIS)

Symptoms. May be asymptomatic. Complaints whites, occasionally pain during sexual intercourse, copious Muco-purulent discharge. Vaginal examination - edematous hypertrophied cervix, velvet fabrics, ovula Nabothi, erosion. Vaginal mucosa is usually hyperemic.

Recognition is not difficult. To exclude gonorrhea, cancer (biopsy erosion).

In chronic cases - trays for cervical from crude wood vinegar, burning of the mucosa of the cervical canal 5 - 10% solution of protargol, 2 - 3% solution of silver nitrate with an interval in 2 - 3 days, only 5 - 6 burns (contraindicated in diseases of the uterus and appendages). Autohemotherapy 3 - 5 ml a day, 10 - 12 injections. Ultraviolet radiation (erythemal dose), diathermy. Repeated transfusions of small doses of blood. The deformations of the neck and a conservative treatment is surgery.
